The Monarch's Dream

Introduction

The Monarch's Dream is the title of a short story book whose content touches the nerve
center of Africa's economic plight.  Based on readings and personal observations and
experiences of the author, the story presents some poignant issues relating to the root causes
of economic poverty in the continent of Africa.  Written in simple language, the story portrays a
futuristic leader who believes that by taking a new  approach to "education" Africa can overcome
many of its economic setbacks.
